Prepare to have a sore trigger finger! You are the pilot of a heavy bomber. You have run out of fuel and to prepare a makeshift runway you have to bomb the city below into rubble. If you hit a building you die. Yes this is the totality of the games plot! To play just keep on pressing fire. If you have a joystick with autofire, switch it on and go have some tea.
This game was rewritten endlessly on the VIC in the early days of the platform because it was a simple concept which gave the player a bad excuse to inflict carnage on a city.
Footnote: Why does the cover-art have a B-17 Fortress on the front but the actual bomber in the game is a B-52? Two reasons: Number one, I like the look of both bombers and wanted them to be a part of the game somehow. Number two, how many 8-bit game titles had deceptive cover art...? I can tell you that I purchased quite a few of these titles myself. So let the tradition continue. Oh and Bomber in the game sounds more like a Hoover than an aircraft. Why? I don't know.
